Overview

Working directly with Dermot McCormack the Executive Vice President Digital for MTV Networks, Stafford negotiated, authored and closed a Master Services Agreement establishing VideoClix as the official clickable-video vendor for over 200 digital properties spanning this division of the Viacom corporation. The ground-breaking deal was the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in the industry and the first to partner an interactive video company and integrate its technology with a world leading content creator and distributor.

REAL WORLD
The Real World is a reality TV series credited with launching the modern genre. It’s the longest-running program in MTV history and the first to go interactive utilizing VideoClix technology. Deployed on Remote Control, MTV’s official TV blog, the execution featured exclusive original segments produced by MTV each week for the interactive project.

Real World fans were delighted to click on specific elements of the scene (faces, clothing, house items) to receive in-depth info, related commentary, photo galleries, cast bios and product breakdowns.

X FIRE
With over 25-million installed users, Xfire is one of the largest online video gaming platforms in the world. Xfire set the standard for the socialization and connection of console and PC gamers. In 2006, Xfire was acquired by Viacom in a $102 million deal. The platform deployed VideoClix enabled video in a series of highly successful interactive projects.
