Open internet advocates in Canada rejoiced last week when the U.S. Federal Court ruled in favour of net neutrality. The decision bars internet service providers from creating “fast lanes” for those content creators inclined to pay extra for a competitive advantage that only speed can bring. The ruling compels ISP’s to deliver equal access and service to all who use the internet.
